Flood Safety, Preparedness, and Awareness
Objective: To prepare the children for floods and make them able to handle any situation in case of emergencies during the flood.
Success criteria: The children will be well prepared for flood and they can raise awareness among others as well. The children will be able to answer the questions and MCQs successfully.
Training: Caretaker will teach them about the flood safety measures and how to prepare for a flood. The children will learn pre-flood preparation (gathering emergency supplies such as food, clean water, medicines, candles, or torches), during flood safety (go to a higher place or creating higher places at home, closing electric power, freeing cattle), after flood safety (using disinfectant)
Time needed: 3-4 hours.
