Most of the children selected in our program come from families struggling financially. They are deprived of many opportunities that other children get very easily. Despite the lack of opportunities, they shine bright with their conviction towards their education.
Md. Akash Ali
Akash’s father runs a small tea shop to maintain their family. His
father’s little income from the shop did not stop Akash from pursuing
his passion to study. He has been resilient throughout the challenges
he faced. He has been one of the most hard working kids in our
program.
He passed his HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate)
examination this year with a GPA of 4.50. He also passed his SSC
(Secondary School Certificate) examination two years ago with the
support of his generous sponsor Mr. Zahidul Islam. He is very grateful
to his sponsor for giving him the opportunity to continue his
education. We are also very happy and proud to be a part of his
journey through all these years.
Rafikul Hasan Rafi
One of our sponsored children, Rafi, appeared in the SSC Examination this year. He passed the exam with a GPA of 3.61. Considering the environment he lives in and the challenges he faces, his results made us proud. He was very happy as well. After his father's death, he thought he wouldn’t be able to study this far. So, he is very appreciative of his sponsors, Mr. Shane Parvez (sponsored him since April, 2023 to March, 2024) and Ms. Anamika Kalam (continuing), for giving him the opportunity to continue his studies.
Also, seeing his hard work, we got him admitted to a computer course where he wanted to enroll for a long time. He was very excited to start the classes. Hopefully, this will help him a lot in the future.
